Juliet Petrarulo
Juliet likes creating characters and story telling and incorporates this into her paintings. Presently, she is working on her third children’s book. The first is called ‘Invisible Wings’ and the second ‘The Snow Fish’. Juliet's preparation for these are story boards and sketching in log books. Juliet works in her studio at home and has been painting and being creative all her life. She paints instinctively from her imagination. She likes illustration and semi abstract, inspired by nature, the coastline and wild elements on this Island. Woodlands and her garden are a great joy to her. Juliet takes her sketchpad out with her and takes photographs for inspiration. Childhood memories and the characteristics of people and animals also intrigue her and inspire her art work. |
