Two afternoons of drop-in workshops. One in Poulsom Park and one in Silverdale.
Free for adults and kids to drop in to either or both!
Come and get messy with clay in the great outdoors! Join local artist Eve Adams for a fun, hands-on workshop, creating temporary natural art in Poulsom Park and/or Silverdale. Using natural clay and found materials, you’ll sculpt, decorate, and play – making everything from swirling snakes to leafy mandalas. Your creations will be photographed as part of the Silverburn Art Trail before fading naturally back into the landscape.
Drop in anytime from 12 noon – we’ll keep going until the clay runs out, arrive early to avoid disappointment.
For Poulsom Park, meet by the main gates near the children’s play park. Please note Poulsom Park does not have toilets or washing facilities. Eve will have large bottles of water, cloths and towels, and there’s a stream nearby.
Please only attend if you’re happy with these arrangements.
For Silverdale, meet by the Willow Dome, just over the footbridge, off the side of the main grassy area below the Pop Factory. Toilets and washing facilities are available in the car park near the cafe/ice cream shop.
No booking needed for either workshop. Suitable for all ages (children must be accompanied by an adult).
These outdoor events will go ahead come rain or shine, as long as it’s safe.
Please wear suitable outdoor clothing that doesn’t matter if it gets dirty!
