Anne-Louise Clague
While first working as a Nurse, Anne became aware of what a valuable tool creative art can be across all ages; seeing the world differently can free the spirit and truly take the mind to a different place. She enjoys creating things and sharing what she sees with others. Anne’s work is an expression of her fascination with nature, in particular the hedgerow and seashore. The changing seasons are all too quickly transient but working with ceramics, print, or stitch is a way of capturing tiny details often missed or taken for granted. Weeds, dried leaves, and seaweed all hold secrets of their own and never cease to amaze. Her work hopes to document the fragile nature of organic matter and a reflection of this beautiful island. |
