Beth Louella
Beth creates celebratory paintings, mixed media pieces and drawings. Focusing largely on the human form, common themes in her art are strength, love, heritage and identity with exploration of spiritual, mental, emotional and social factors. Beth won the John Nicholson Annual Bursary Award for Visual Arts 2021 and is one of eight artists selected by the Responsa Foundation for their ‘This Difference’ project which involves featuring in a film, publishing of her art and an exhibition in London. Beth has studied art to postgraduate level; attending University of Arts London (B.S.A.D.), Birmingham City University (U.C.E.) and Reading University. She has worked as an artist and illustrator for many years and over that time has created artwork for a range of clients; from global publishing houses to individuals on independent commissions. |
