Christie Nuell

Born in Oxford, England, Christie Nuell has lived in the United Kingdom, Italy, the United States, and the Isle of Man. She was married to the late Lon Nuell.
Christie is Professor Emeritus of Art at Middle Tennessee State University, where she taught from 1981-2012. She studied at the State University of New York and the University of Georgia. 
Over the course of her career, her work has ranged from traditional printmaking processes, to paintings using water-based media, two- and three-dimensional constructions involving laser engravings, collage and animation. She has exhibited in over 100 exhibitions, regionally, nationally and internationally.
