Most of Eric’s creative work reflects his engagement with drawing, painting and, more recently, photography. His focus for painting is on the use of the interaction of colour to explore the illusion of three dimensions.
Sometimes, this expresses his emotional response to things that he observes, and at other times, he places the emphasis on a perceptual learning process. He lives in Peel and attempts to offer a fresh painterly perspective of his surroundings through photography.
Currently his photographs are contributing in an unstructured way to a portfolio ‘Portrait of Peel’. If successful, his aim is that the collected works will reflect the rugged charms of Peel and its location.
