Jeremy paul - fading light
Better known as a wildlife artist, this is one of very few paintings without any wildlife present as Jeremy thought it would be unnecessary and intrusive in such a scene.
Fading Light shows the view looking back from Fort Island to the south of the Island as the summer sun dipped behind hills; the light on the water can be mesmerising in both summer and winter.
The view also encompasses the place Jeremy has called home for 35 years - “what a place to live”.
Medium: acrylic on board
Dimensions: 51 x 25.5 cm
