Grace Squires

Grace's work is about passing through familiar and unfamiliar places and architectural constructs, remembering how it feels and felt in reality and in dreams. Abstracting it out into colours, forms and textures. Allowing a viewer to make their own connections and interpretation.

Discovering the medium of acrylics has totally altered Grace's practice and resonates with her in a way no other medium has to date. It suits how she likes to work fast and its versatility has opened up a vast new territory.

Grace would call herself a painter and a printmaker with collagist leanings.
