Greg Joughin
An established artist, Greg has recently turned to observational pencil drawings, with a preference to bird studies. In his older work, Greg draws in the ancient Pictish style using techniques that date back over 1,000 years. He has taken these primal skills and applies them to modern subjects, twisting and adapting them to create new images, vibrant and modern in their appeal. Although comfortable using traditional patterns in his work he is never happier than when he is experimenting, and creating his own unique variations. Greg has produced a book on how to draw some of the original Pictish designs. |
