Ian Pilbeam
Ian is a professional photographer with a studio in Douglas. His passion is documenting Britain’s contemporary urban spaces, and photographing people and places in the Isle of Man using traditional equipment and methods to produce hand-printed, black & white limited editions. Having worked as a photographer for many years, Ian’s commercial specialism is jewellery, watches and other small shiny things. Long experience of working with specialised equipment and developing exceptional retouching skills have given him an acute eye for quality and detail which he brings to his own creative work. All Ian’s commercial work is digital, while the black & white prints are produced using real film in 5x4”, 6x6cm and 35mm formats, all of which he processes and prints personally. ianpilbeam.com |
