Kim Graziano
Kim Graziano, often known by her pen name Kim Gee, is a New York-born artist now calling the Isle of Man home. She studied Fashion Illustration and Communication Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology, and has been a working creative for the last seven years. She moved to the Isle of Man in 2016 and founded Kim Gee Studio LTD, providing graphic design, illustration, and art experiences locally and abroad. The majority of her illustration work is created digitally, including her 'Minimann' series of peaceful Manx landscapes, but she is also well known for her signature watercolour portraits. In 2017 Kim created the Isle of Man Drawing Club, a twice-monthly life drawing event for local artists. She also co-created the Keird Collective with 5 other local artists and makers, holding pop-up artisan markets and art workshops. In 2018 she was named one of the Isle of Man's 30 Under 30 in their creative category. Kim has illustrated three books, including ‘Build Your Own Website: A Comic Guide to HTML, CSS, and Wordpress’ (No Starch Press, 2014), which has since been translated into six different languages. |
