Manx Wearable Art
The Manx Wearable Art Group aims to create clothing of great beauty, innovation and wit, embracing the worlds of art, fashion and theatre. Since 2005, Sue Robinson and Doreen Dixon, founders of the group, have held a biennial, open entry, live catwalk presentation of exciting wearable art produced on the island. They experiment with techniques and raw materials, as often as not, recycled, to create original forms, textures, and silhouettes. |
