Pauline Berrie
Pauline’s work is based on her fascination with the sea and the marine environment. A keen diver she feels privileged to have experience of the underwater world which inspires much of her art. She enjoys working in 2D and 3D and lists underwater photography, print-making, jewellery and sculpture as her main interests. Her nature prints are both abstract and literal, whether creating prints from lino cuts or exploring Gyotaku (a print making method Japanese fishermen used to record their catch). In her jewellery and 3D work she likes to utilise a variety of materials, such as copper, silver, enamel, ceramic, silicone and wood. |
