Sarah devereau -
Approaching magher breck + the lane down to magher breck
Sarah’s family Home, Magher Breck, is a Manx farmhouse in the heart of Maughold, hidden down a long winding track, surrounded by fields and sheep, with beautiful views of the Isle of Man around it. All the family have had turns living and working there. It was Sarah’s home for ten years, and the barn was the best and largest studio she had ever had.
Now, in her much smaller studio, Sarah has painted these pictures from many earlier drawings and from the memories of living there.
We all gather at Magher Breck for birthdays and celebrations, having bonfires and barbecues, games and noise, younger grandchildren enjoying everything about our family Home as much as we still do.
Medium: oil on Canvas
Dimensions: 40.5 x 55.5 cm
