The sailors' shelter |
East Quay, Peel, IM5 1AJ
The Sailors’ Shelter, found on Peel’s East Quay, will be opened to house the work of two Network artists, Janet Corran and Vici Blackburn. Janet creates 3D sculptures from everyday materials - including wood, wire and ceramics - and hopes to include a piece for this weekend which visitors can interact with. Her abstract paintings are created from oil paint, modified by a variety of unusual mediums. Vici’s porcelain pieces are hand-painted and glazed to reflect the rhythm and weather of our windswept Island.

Make your way down to the eastern side of Peel Marina, where the Sailors’ Shelter is located towards the bend known as Spit Corner.
