Open Studios North 19 - 20 Aug
Rebecca Odessa Open Studio
Anam Cara, Cranstal Road, Bride, IM7 4BS
This summer Rebecca is working in a beautiful studio by the sea, near the Point of Ayre. She wanted to open it for this year’s Art Festival, so that other people can experience the specialness of the location.
Rebecca is currently doing her Masters in Fine Art through Central Saint Martins, so it will be a great opportunity for people to learn what is involved in higher art education, as well view the work she is producing for her course. Rebecca will be showing a range of old and new work, including paintings, collages and films.
Located on the right hand side, halfway down the road that leads directly to the Point of Ayre lighthouse. There is space at the end of the driveway to turn around.

Manx Mural Fest 19 -20 Aug
Onchan Community Hub
10am - 4pm Saturday 11am - 4pm Sunday
The first Mural Fest began at Ballasalla as a part of the last island wide Art Festival in 2021. It is now organised as a separate event and has a life of its own but fortunately it's organisers have once again this year scheduled it to coincide with the Creative Network IOM Art Festival 2023.
Over the course of the weekend, several artists will be coming together to create large scale mural paintings. Why not drop in to see them working and have a go yourself, perhaps on your way to other Northern venues on Saturday or Sunday or both! Two trips might be necessary to see how the paintings develop.
