Artist Social Evening at Noa Bakehouse

We are hosting a social evening at Noa Bakehouse in Douglas on Thursday 14th January from 7pm 'til 9pm! It is aimed at both existing members and artists interested joining the group, who wish to learn about plans for the recently renamed 'Isle of Man Art Festival', (formerly known as 'Western Open Studio Art Trail' or 'WOSAT').

The re-brand will allow greater scope for growing the event across the island, and is intended to encourage Island-wide artist participation. The Isle of Man Art Festival will continue to take place over the May Day Bank Holiday weekend, Saturday 30th April to Monday 2nd May 2016, for it's fifth year. This year, there will be opportunities to exhibit at the Hodgson Loom Gallery in Laxey and Noa Bakehouse in Douglas, as well as our usual venues in the west of the island.

As well as exhibitions of artists’ work, the Art Festival provides the opportunity to participate in workshops, see artists demonstrating a wide variety of techniques and peek inside artists' studios.
