A opportunity to take a peek at where the magic happens. The below artists are opening up their studios to the general public for the festival. Watch them demonstrate their craft, or have a go yourself. Check the individual entries below to see what's in store at each studio. Open 14th & 15th August
Visit Petrina's home to see a wide range of her latest evocative paintings on display in her lovely house, and see her studio where she works to produce them. Travelling on the main road into Port Erin, turn left at the methodist church onto Droghadfayle Road. Continue over the railway lines, then take the first right followed immediately by the first left. Festival Signage will guide you inside. |

Open 21st & 22nd August 11am - 4pm
Val has recently moved from Peel to live in Onchan, where she has a small home studio which she is opening to the public on 21st & 22nd August. Val works in oils and enjoys making paintings in series. 2019 - 2020 featured various distinctive characters from town locations, in 2021 Val embarked on a series of modern floral paintings. In-between she is compiling a series of landscapes from along the Raad ny Foillan. A selection of these various subjects will be on display at her home. From Douglas travel north along the promenade, up into Onchan. Take a left across the tram tracks into Harbour road. At the top of the hill bear right into Groudle Road. No 43 is the final house on the right. Access to the studio is via the path to the right of the garage, and will be marked with festival signage. |

Olive's paintings are well known across the Island, her work is exhibited at many local shows and exhibitions. Her subjects are varied and include Manx landscapes, street scenes, and wildlife in a variety of media. Pop into her home studio in Onchan to see her at work! From Douglas travel north along the promenade, up into Onchan. Take a left across the tram tracks into Harbour road. Kirkway is the third turning on the left, and Olive's house is the first bungalow on the left. Access to the studio is through the front door, which will be marked with festival signage. |

Open 21st & 22nd August
Network artists Myra Gilbert & Eric Glithero are joined for the weekend by fellow artist Eve Adams, in their beautiful and spacious garden studio. They will be demonstrating and showing an eclectic range of work in 2D, and 3D mixed media. From the House of Manannan, cross over to the Creek Inn and head along East Quay towards the sea. Look out for an open black iron gate into a cobbled courtyard surrounded by black cladding indicating 'East Quay Yard'. Follow the festival signage into the courtyard and then up the stone side steps into the secret garden studio! Disabled access may be arranged by calling 840130. Mama moon's studio

This year, network Artist Laura Espinosa Moon is exhibiting her work in her lovely new studio in Peel, along with friend and fellow artist, Ellie Baker. Both artists create images in 2D and take their inspiration from the beautiful Manx landscape. Parking is available on Peel Promenade at the 'Creg Malin' car park or at Marine Parade. Open Sunday 22nd only
Network artists Kate Jerry & Colette Gambell have recently moved to this exciting new space which is a hub for their various creative enterprises: Artreach Studios - creative workshops for all ages and abilities, AosSi - their personal workshop for their own creativity as artists, and Isle Contemporary - a bright and airy exhibition space. This wonderful new space can be found in unit 1 of The Gasworks, Mill road, on the site of the old gasometer, opposite the back of the House of Manannan artists: Kate Jerry, Colette Gambell, + various in their currently featured exhibition |
